Kathy Durdin
President & Acting Treasurer
Kathy Durdin is a retired management consultant and CPA. She is a watercolor artist and teacher, with signature memberships in a number of watercolor societies, including Florida, and
exhibits across the country. She is also the acting Treasurer of Florida Watercolor Society, the Secretary/Treasurer of Tampa Arts Alliance, the past chair of the H B Plant Museum, and a board member of Tampa Bay Businesses for the Arts.
She has a BBA from the College of William and Mary and is also an Associate Certified Coach.

Donna Morrison
Vice President & Chair, Capital Campaign
Donna has been part of the TRA family for over 20 years, working as a watercolor instructor and volunteer. She recently took on the position of Vice President and is passionate about helping the Old Hyde Park Art Center be a community asset focused on arts for years to come.
Donna has worked in Tampa as an artist her entire career, first as a graphic designer and then as a fine art creator. She holds her signature status with the National, Southern, Suncoast, and Tallahassee Watercolor Societies, and serves on the board of the Herrig Center for the Arts in Bradenton. She is a past board member of the Florida Watercolor Society and Las Damas de Arte.

Patti Kuiber
Secretary
Patti is also watercolor artist, traveler, and Native Floridian. After retiring from a corporate job she made the decision to prioritize her time and energy on activities that bring her joy and fulfillment.

Dr. Judy Pence Milsaps
Director — Exhibitions
Dr. Milsaps has an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Art
Education, a Masters in Elementary Education, and a Doctoral in Curriculums / Instruction and Middle School Principalship.
She spent 35 years working in public education. She has been a TRA member for over 13 years, focusing on mixed media and printmaking (wooden and linoleum blocks). She is also an avid quilter.

Dr. Theresa Seits
Director — Membership
As a Navy veteran and military spouse, Theresa learned to adapt quickly—building skills that shaped her ability to lead, organize, and communicate effectively. These experiences taught her how to work collaboratively, solve problems creatively, and stay focused on long-term goals—skills that naturally carried into her professional life.
After raising four children, Theresa spent her career as an educator and administrator with Hillsborough County Public Schools, where she applied those same strengths to support students and staff across all grade levels. She led programs, coordinated resources, and helped implement school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student success and creating inclusive learning environments.
Now retired in her beloved forever home - Tampa, she’s able to devote more time to her love of art—especially watercolor—and she’s excited to bring her leadership experience, organizational skills, and commitment to service for Tampa Regional Artists.

Eileen Petre
Director — Teacher Liaison
Eileen is a visual storyteller, painting in all mediums, teaching oil painting at TRA on Friday afternoons, starting next month.
My preferred subjects are people and nature, often with an environmental message
She is an internationally known, award winning textile and mixed media artists. After receiving her BFA in art, she spent several years in southeast Asia, leaving surface design techniques for fabric plus ancient and contemporary painting and printmaking techniques.
Teaching art to adults and children over the years has brought her great joy. Though her classes, she’s been able to share her love of art with countless enthusiastic students.

Nobert Gonsalves
Director — Newsletter
Norbert holds a BFA from the JJ Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai, India. He
furthered his studies at the Arts Students League, New York. He enjoyed a successful career spanning 40 yrs as an advertising art/creative director in Mumbai, Toronto and New York
before retiring to the Tampa Bay area. He has received multiple international awards for his work.
In Tampa, Norbert took up sculpting and has received numerous awards and recognition of his work including Best Sculpture at the Bay Area Art Show in 2024 and 2025.
He has served on the board of the Tampa Regional Artists since 2021-2025

Steve Eckstein
Director
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Steve has lived in Tampa since 1988 (37 years). He is a
graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education.
While at Bowling Green, Steve’s first loves were printmaking, drawing and abstract painting. He became intrigued by watercolor after seeing exhibits of by Winslow Homer and Andrew Wyeth.
He started attending Donna Morrison’s watercolor classes in 2015 and has been a regular attendee since retiring in 2022.
He is also an associate member of the Florida Watercolor Society. Since retirement, he has been able to dedicate more time to painting and credits TRA classes, workshops, and exhibitions with his growth as an artist. He is grateful for the work and efforts of so many volunteers and leaders who have served and sustained TRA for many years and seeks to work as board member to continue the growth and preservation of TRA as a valuable cultural resource in our community.

Dr. Herman Weinberg
Director
Dr. Weinberg grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. He has a doctorate in Education from
Temple University. Dr Weinberg is a Professor Emeritus of the College of Education, USF.
He has served on national, regional and local boards of professional associations and served on editorial boards of professional journals. He has been a member of TRA since 2015 and has served as a docent and was a previous board member.
His paintings have received recognition at regional, local and on-line art shows.
